Tubulars

As one of the most important pieces of equipment in drilling operations, drill pipe is essential to reaching destinations far below the earth’s surface. Premium Tools understands the strategies to downhole success and strives to carry only the highest quality in drill pipe, hevi-wate drill pipe (HWDP), and tubing for drilling, workover, and completion operations. In addition, Premium’s inventory of tubulars is supported by a quality maintenance program before the products leave the warehouse, as well as industry leading personal service. Premium’s engineers, technicians, dispatchers, and managers offer a wealth of knowledge and experience, many having worked in the field for decades. Combined, the Premium team represents hundreds of years of valuable experience.

Drill Pipe

Premium’s tubular steel conduit is the industry’s staple, ranging in size from 3 1/2 to 5 1/2 in all grades and weights including API bottleneck/slim-hole w/API and proprietary double. We offer the precise drill pipe to suit any project.

Hevi-Wate Drill Pipe

Premium’s hevi-wate pipe is an intermediate weight drill stem component used in conjunction with drill pipe and collars. Our HWDP allows more weight to be run in the wellbore, thereby reducing hole drag and fatigue damage. With the same size outside and inside diameter as standard drill pipe, HWDP ranges in size from 3 1/2 to 5 1/2.

Tubing

Tubing is generally smaller than conventional drill pipe and is used primarily in workover and completion applications. Premium Tools’ tubing is available in PH-6/CS Types and 8Rd, and with thread sizes that range from 2 3/8 to 4 1/2 inch.

Tubular Drifts

Premium Tools’ drift gauges are reliable for use in casing, tubulars, and completion components. They verify that minimum-diameter specifications are within tolerance for effective operations. Premium drifts are available in a variety of sizes in Teflon/steel/aluminum.
